Objective: Defeat your opponent by either banishing 3 of their Kings (Domination) or forcing them to be unable to draw a card (Deck Out).
Setup
Choose King: You will be presented with four Kings. Choose one to be your primary piece.
Assemble Vanguard: Your hand will be drawn. From your hand, choose your King plus 4 other cards to form your 5-card Vanguard.
Place Vanguard: Place your 5 Vanguard cards on any of the empty tiles in the row closest to you.
Coin Flip: A coin is flipped to determine who takes the first turn.
Gameplay
Players take turns moving pieces and placing new cards on the board.
On your turn:
Draw one card.
You may move one piece already on the board.
You must place one card from your hand onto an available starting tile, if possible.
Your hand is limited to 10 cards. If you exceed this at the end of your turn, you must discard down to 10.
If your King is not on the board, you must place one from your hand. If you have no King in your hand, you must choose one from your deck to add to your hand.
Placement Rules
Face Cards (A, K, Q, J): Can only be placed on the row nearest to you.
Number Cards (2-10): Can only be placed on the second row from the edge.
